Power for the shared U is included at an average of 75watts per U of space. For example, a 10U cabinet on average will use about 4 to 5 amps of power.
With the power efficiency of today’s servers our customers average only approximately a half an amp per U of space. There is no need to purchase expensive full circuit drops like at other colocation centers and no need to take up space with a bulky UPS. Power is delivered to each private cabinet on a discrete metered circuit and includes fully conditioned UPS power with generator backup. Per-U is a popular option for backup and replication servers and devices. Our Per-U space is great for those who only need a few U for one or two servers. Private cabinets are available in 5 different sizes to accommodate your initial needs and future growth. Replication is managed directly by the application, however not all applications have replication technology configuration varies from one application to another.TrueNet offers both private locking and Per-U secure common space cabinets. Your application is configured with automatic replication on two servers (on-premises and in the cloud) that are always running. Your replicated VM is ready to be powered up by your cloud service provider infrastructure. Your VM is replicated to a hypervisor outside your infrastructure. After it’s restored, your VM will run exactly as it did when you backed it up. You can restore your VM on any server running the same hypervisor (Hyper-V or VMware). Your virtual machine (VM) is backed up as a single file to storage in a different building. You can restore them from any location with an internet connection. Selected files on your servers are backed up to storage in a different building.
